purple cow

Just read the book Purple Cow by Seth Godin.

I guess its one of the contemporary marketing classics.
Abstract:
- always be remarable, espacially when designing your product or service
- offer a great product and people find out
- target innovators and early adopters when introducing a new product
- do not try to appeal to everyone, this will make you boring
- always be remarkable
- safe is risky

That's enough for this entry. Seth Godin has a blog, btw. And: I found this book via Jon Cronin, here is his blog... hopes that boosts some technorati ranking... ;)

@mic: how do you like rss, works like a charm, does it?

I guess that means we're going to see more weird and wacky items for customisation by spreadshirt, taking you further ahead of cafepress and zazzle.

Maybe you should partner with someone like facebook or birthday alarm to enable people to counter birthday reminders with spontaneous customisable gifts via spreadshirt.

Just some purple cow thoughts ;)...
